Atom C Wins Orleans Tournament!

The boys won all four games played by a combined score of 25-6! This was a remarkable achievement for the coaching staff and the team, as half of the boys had not played organized hockey previously, and the most the parents were hoping for was some evidence that the rudiments of the offside rule had been grasped. Goaltending played a big part and the Hasek-like style has clearly been an inspiration to Nicholas Page and Dylan Watson who kept the opposition at bay at crucial times in the opening and final games. The defence were solid and led by the stay at home style of Nabil Visanji and Jared Vlug gave their more offensive minded defence partners Matthew Gratton and Sebastian Poliquin-Paradis licence to roam freely. The offence were on fire throughout and comprised the "ABC" line of Matthew Alleyne, Phillipe Bonneville and Thomas Cox, the "Big, Bad, Fast" line of Patrice Brunet, Kealey Bloom and Jacob Falsetto and the "dynamic duo" of Jeremy Kendell and Tyler Genier. All in all a tremendous few days of hockey and great thanks to all for the wonderful coaching, cheering and playing.
